Job Details:
Key Responsibilities:
– Operate manual presses, hand grinders, and tape bars for assembly preparation.
– Handle aluminum and copper busbars.
– Operate press brakes according to manufacturing instructions.
– Remove excess weld material using hand grinders.
– Load and unload robotic welders.
– Follow established procedures, manufacturing information, and drawings.
– Utilize material handling equipment to move products and supplies.
– Support and sustain 5S+ in the work area.
– Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications Needed:
– Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
– High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Minimum of 3 months of manufacturing experience in an industrial setting.
– Experience operating powered industrial vehicles (e.g., forklifts).
– Experience with Eaton system controls, material management, and hand/air tools.
– South Carolina Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent.
Experience:
– Prior experience in a fabrication shop and operating welding equipment.
Skills:
– Proven problem-solving skills.
– Effective oral and written communication skills.
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Salary/Compensation:
– Hourly rate: $15.11 per hour
– Additional compensation includes health, welfare, and retirement benefits, as well as paid and unpaid time off.
