Job Description/Overview:
My client is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy recognised for its expertise in geotechnical, civil, environmental, and water projects.
As a privately owned firm, they maintain a robust project portfolio across New Zealand. Currently, they are looking to expand their team in Auckland and are seeking experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineers.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will take charge of diverse geotechnical projects spanning renewables, foundations, dams, settlements, retaining walls, slips, and irrigation. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from detailed design and site inspections to preparing comprehensive reports in collaboration with internal teams and external consultants.
Qualifications needed
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a reputable university.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective coordination with engineers, architects, and project managers.
- A strong passion for Engineering and geotechnical projects.
- A collaborative mindset, capable of working well within teams as well as independently.
- At least 4 years of proven experience in Geotechnical Engineering, either in New Zealand or internationally.
