Job Description:
AgeCare is seeking a Food & Nutrition Manager to oversee the management of their Food and Nutrition Services Department. The role involves providing high-quality food and nutritional services to residents in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include conducting resident nutritional assessments, supporting resident and family councils, and ensuring compliance with clinical documentation standards.
Requirements:
– Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or related field.
– Active membership in the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management or Registered Dietitian status.
– Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate.
– Previous professional experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
– Knowledge of clinical documentation and therapeutic nutrition for long-term care populations.
– Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
