Garment Technologist
Location: Newmarket, Auckland

We’re seeking a talented individual to collaborate with our design team and support the development of exciting new collections. Key Responsibilities:
– Design Collaboration: Work closely with designers to translate design concepts into detailed technical specification packs.
– Product Development: Support the development of products from initial design ideas through to pre-production, ensuring alignment with technical and quality standards.
– Sampling Process: Oversee the sampling process, including fitting sessions, to refine designs and address any technical issues.
– Technical Specifications: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical packs including garment construction details, materials, and fit requirements.
– Pre-Production Sign Off: Ensure that all products meet the required standards before production begins, overseeing the transition from design to manufacturing.
What We’re Looking For:
– Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a Garment Technologist role or a related field within the fashion industry. Experience in design, technical, or production backgrounds will also be considered.
– Technical Skills: Strong ability to develop and interpret technical specification packs and experience with pattern making.
– Passion for Fashion: Enthusiasm for developing fashion products and seeing them through the entire development process.
– Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
– Wellbeing Advocate: A commitment to personal and team wellbeing, with an appreciation for mental health support in the workplace.
