Job Description/Overview
Egerton Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built 64-bed care facility located in the picturesque village of Egerton, Bolton, United Kingdom, is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping & Laundry Assistant. As part of New Care, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the home, contributing to a safe and comfortable environment for our residents. You will be a key part of a passionate team that strives to deliver exceptional care in a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Complete all daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
Follow all guidance provided by the Head Housekeeper.
Undertake general cleaning tasks and other cleaning duties as delegated.
Assist with laundry duties as needed.
Maintain a hazard-free working environment while using cleaning equipment.
Promote and safeguard the welfare of the residents.
Qualifications
Previous experience in non-domestic cleaning and working in a care setting is beneficial.
Ability to operate cleaning equipment and follow written/verbal instructions.
Strong communication skills with team members.
Experience
Experience in housekeeping or laundry assistance is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
Skills
Reliability and trustworthiness.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
