Job Description:
Ford Motor Company is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Ford Credit Technology & Software organization, responsible for creating digital software products to enhance the customer experience. As part of our Ford Pro Insure team, you will contribute to developing and maintaining digital solutions that support the needs of commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and support software configurations for Ford Pro Insure.
Design and develop solutions, including custom reports and software enhancements.
Perform data transformation from multiple sources into Origami databases.
Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers, and other engineers.
Lead data mapping activities and develop SQL scripts and queries.
Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in existing systems.
Test software solutions in an Agile environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in the software implementation life cycle.
Knowledge of Origami/DuckCreek/Guidewire SaaS software.
Experience with Agile development, APIs, microservices, and DevSecOps practices.
P&C Insurance industry experience is required.
Preferred Experience:
Integration experience with third-party solutions like Origami, DuckCreek, or Guidewire.
Proficiency in development technologies: SQL, XML, C#, HTML/CSS, JSON, Python, JavaScript.
Familiarity with test automation tools (Cypress, Postman, Selenium).
Experience with SCM tools like GitHub and basic cloud architecture.
Strong communication skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
