Job Description/Overview:
Rullion is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join the team in Derby. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the software lifecycle, developing software solutions using high-level architectural designs and manual coding, while collaborating with firmware, systems, and electronics teams.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work across all design phases of the software lifecycle.
– Develop high-level software requirements using DOORS.
– Create architectural designs using SCADE architects.
– Implement manual SPARK Ada code.
– Use continuous integration and delivery toolsets.
– Engage in problem-solving and support audits.
– Collaborate with firmware, systems, and electronics teams.
Qualifications:
– Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related discipline.
– Proficiency in C++ and C# programming languages.
– Experience in embedded software development, real-time systems, and operating systems.
– Hi Integrity coding experience.
– Eligible for SC clearance.
Experience:
– Proven experience working with embedded hardware platforms and programming.
– Experience in developing software for real-time systems.
Skills:
– Proficiency with C++, C#, and ideally Python.
– Knowledge of embedded hardware platforms and software integration.
– Understanding of real-time operating systems and high-integrity coding.

Additional Information:
Applicants must be eligible to obtain SC clearance. The position is for 37 hours per week, and the salary ranges from £43,000 to £60,000 per year, depending on experience. The role is permanent and requires immediate availability, subject to clearance.
