Job Description/Overview:
We are looking for a skilled plumber to install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems for various settings, including domestic, commercial, and industrial. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and functionality of plumbing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
– Install and repair domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
– Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
– Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and fittings.
– Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
– Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
– Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
– Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes and sizes.
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience:
– 1 year to less than 2 years in plumbing.
Skills:
– Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
