Job Description/Overview:

The Sales Specialist is responsible for setting tactical objectives for product sales, aligning with the department’s strategic vision and mission. The role involves managing business opportunities, creating profitable initiatives, and leading sales activities to achieve corporate goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage staff and evaluate sales activities to meet objectives.

– Develop and implement sales plans based on business, financial, and operational information.

– Forecast sales activities and set performance goals.

– Analyze market trends to determine customer needs, pricing, and discount rates.

– Monitor industry changes and report to top management with suggested actions.

– Oversee channel development, sales distribution, and territory assignments.

– Represent the company at trade association meetings and deliver presentations to key clients.

– Assist the sales team in maintaining relationships, negotiating, and closing deals.

– Prepare sales reports, monitor competitor activities, and recommend system improvements.

– Maintain quality service standards and stay updated with professional knowledge.

 

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

– Master’s degree / MBA is an advantage.

– 7 to 9 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

– Strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to build and lead teams.

– Performance-oriented with a focus on achieving goals and balancing resources.

 

Experience: 

7 to 9 years in sales, including 3 years in a managerial capacity.
