Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience in the local marketing industry. This role involves handling both physical and digital advertising and managing multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate will work with team members, social media officers, and other specialists to plan, capture, curate, and publish content related to university activities and outreach beyond campus events. Bilingualism and strong written English skills are required, along with the ability to translate.
Key Responsibilities:
– Evaluate target demographics, distribution channels, and marketing channels.
– Analyze marketing metrics to identify cause and effect relationships.
– Collaborate with the marketing department to develop strategies.
– Conduct secondary research using information from statistics and industry professionals.
– Understand research methodologies and advanced statistical analysis.
– Meet with clients regularly to set marketing and promotional goals.
Social Media Skills:
– Develop, implement, and manage the social media strategy.
– Define social media KPIs and oversee social media content.
– Measure the success of social media campaigns.
– Stay updated with social media best practices and technologies.
– Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing.
– Monitor SEO and user engagement, suggesting content optimization.

Qualifications:

– Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.
– Familiarity with social media KPIs and web design.
– Excellent multitasking, critical thinking, problem-solving, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
– Team player with good communication skills.
