About the Role
PaySpace is seeking a Global Product Specialist to manage and execute country-specific payroll configuration projects. This role involves analyzing advisory packs, defining legislative and functional requirements, and collaborating across multiple teams to ensure successful project delivery. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, enhancing team skills, and driving the timely execution of country rollouts while adhering to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Advisory Pack Analysis:
- Review advisory packs and country blueprints with Payroll BAs.
- Clarify and address legislative compliance requirements via workshops and meetings.
- Assess system gaps and the complexity of country-specific builds.
Functional and Legislative Build Requirements:
- Define functional and legislative build requirements for various delivery teams.
- Collaborate with development teams to estimate timelines and complexity.
- Escalate new system requirements to the product delivery team as needed.
Bureau Configuration:
- Work closely with Payroll Product Specialists to create specifications for calculations and functional requirements.
- Coordinate task assignments with Payroll BAs.
Continuous Skill Enhancement:
- Educate team members on bug fixes, system updates, and advanced tools.
- Train in-country teams to ensure self-sufficiency in handling build requirements.
Country Build Approvals:
- Collaborate with in-country compliance teams and UAT to ensure delivery meets legislative standards.
- Escalate and resolve non-compliance issues with development teams.
Post Go-Live Evaluation:
- Conduct post-deployment assessments to evaluate stability and performance.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Work with Payroll BAs and QA teams to maintain legislative compliance in all builds.
Project Management:
- Develop and manage functional project delivery plans.
- Monitor task progress and communicate potential delays to the Product Specialist Lead.
- Ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery of country-specific projects.
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain training materials for country build configurations.
- Ensure continuous in-country maintenance after deployment.
Required Experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in PaySpace payroll configuration.
Qualifications
- Payroll Qualification.
Skills
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting advisory information.
- Experience in bureau configuration, including JavaScript calculations, components, tax codes, and custom fields.
- Intermediate Excel skills (lookups, formulas, concatenation).
- Strong communication skills across all levels.
- Time management and leadership capabilities.
- Experience in creating reports using predefined tools.
- Basic project management understanding.
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
