Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented Copywriter to join our team. This role is ideal for a storyteller who can adapt their writing style to diverse industries and audiences. You will collaborate with the Creative Director and other team members to produce high-quality content across a variety of digital and print platforms. From social media posts and video scripts to email content and white papers, you’ll play a key role in helping our clients communicate their brand and message in a clear, engaging way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Creative Director and team on creative ideation and execution.
- Produce high-quality content that supports both creative and strategy for digital and print solutions.
- Generate engaging content for social posts, banner ads, video scripts, infographics, taglines, white papers, email content, and more.
- Manage your tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Confidently present and justify your creative choices in executive design reviews and client presentations.
- Be an active and supportive team member, upholding Summer Friday’s core values of teamwork, equality, and open collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of copywriting experience (agency experience preferred).
- Proven ability to create copy for a wide range of audiences, brands, and industries.
- Experience in financial services, utilities, or health insurance is a plus.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Positive, calm demeanor with the ability to inspire and collaborate with team members and clients.
- Experience working with designers is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to take on tasks of any scale to support clients and Summer Friday’s vision.
