About the Position:
Join Progressive’s Customer Care team as a remote Insurance Agent and assist customers with their unique insurance needs. In this role, you’ll handle high-volume inbound calls (no cold calling, no commission), helping customers understand coverage options and recommending products that fit their needs. This position requires an active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license, and candidates must have at least two years of relevant work experience or two years of post-secondary education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound calls from customers.
- Assist customers in understanding their insurance needs and provide guidance on available products.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers through excellent communication and customer service.
- No cold calling required.
- Focus on educating customers about coverage options and matching them with suitable products.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license.
- At least two years of relevant work experience or two years of post-secondary education.
- Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Work From Home Requirements:
- Designated workspace free from distractions.
- High-speed internet at your expense (unless otherwise required by law).
- Computer provided must be physically connected to the router or modem by cable (no wireless connections).
- Must use surge protectors for all Progressive hardware.
Schedule:
- Full-time position, with a mix of weekdays, one weekend day, and evening hours post-training.
- Training begins in March 2025.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay: $21.50/hour.
- Gainshare annual cash incentive based on company performance (8% – 16% of eligible earnings).
- Additional $1.00/hour for bilingual Spanish/English roles.
