About the Role
The Commerce Commission is seeking a highly organized Operations Support Officer to provide essential administrative support to our Competition, Fair Trading, and Credit branch. This is a permanent position based in our Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) office.
As an Operations Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient running of the branch, working in a fast-paced, project-based environment. You will be the main point of contact for operational and project administration in our Auckland office. Key tasks include managing Division meetings, preparing and collating documents, attending meetings, and taking accurate minutes. Additionally, you will assist with travel bookings, meeting setups, and social functions.
You will be part of a high-performing, collaborative team and work under the guidance of a supportive manager who is committed to your professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support for Division meetings, including document preparation, meeting facilitation, and minute-taking.
- Support the branch with travel bookings, meeting setups, and assisting with social functions.
- Ensure efficient operational support and be flexible in managing various tasks across the branch.
- Build strong relationships within the team and other stakeholders.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have strong organizational and coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. We are looking for candidates with experience in administrative roles, such as EA, administrator, or team coordinator. The following skills and attributes are essential:
