Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Content Writer to create high-quality articles and guides across a variety of topics. As part of our content team, you will work closely with editors and SEO specialists to produce engaging, well-researched, and concise pieces that resonate with our audience. This is a contract/temporary remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic international team.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Research and write comprehensive yet concise articles and guides on a variety of topics.
- Adhere to Guidelines: Follow Career.io’s guidelines for style, structure, tone, and voice in all content.
- SEO Collaboration: Create content in line with SEO guidelines to drive traffic and improve rankings.
- Content Calendar Management: Meet deadlines within the content calendar and manage writing tasks efficiently.
- Linking: Incorporate internal and external links within content to enhance understanding and user experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with editors to refine and perfect each piece before publication.
- Engagement: Participate in quarterly writer’s meetings, contribute content ideas, and stay engaged with the team.
Requirements
- Native proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Proven experience in copywriting or journalism.
- Ability to write within a specific tone and voice according to the brief.
- Availability to complete writing tasks on a regular basis each month.
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, adapt, and collaborate with an international team.
