Job Description/Overview:
Bromley Healthcare – Care at Home is looking for compassionate caregivers to provide domiciliary care to service users, enabling them to live fulfilling lives in their own homes. The role involves delivering high-quality, person-centered care tailored to individual needs and lifestyle choices.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personal care, including washing, dressing, bathing, toileting, and administering medication.
Assist with shopping, meal preparation, and domestic tasks, such as cleaning.
Support service users in accessing the community, socializing, and participating in leisure activities.
Use manual handling techniques and equipment where necessary.
Promote health, wellbeing, and independence while fostering the best possible quality of life.
Maintain accurate records and report changes in service users’ conditions promptly.
Qualifications:
A compassionate, caring, and patient demeanor.
Commitment to providing person-centered care and promoting dignity.
Experience:
Previous experience in domiciliary care is desirable but not essential.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including alternate weekends.
