Job Description / Overview:
Bodiam Pty Ltd is seeking a Production Assistant – Forklift Operator to join their team. This role involves a rotational roster with shifts including weekends, nights, and public holidays. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, assisting with hay press operations, and performing minor mechanical repairs in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-start machine checks.
Safely operate forklifts in a warehouse setting.
Assist in the operation of the hay press.
Perform routine cleaning tasks.
Carry out minor mechanical repairs.
Operate strapping and wrapping machines.
Qualifications:
Current Forklift License.
White Card (Construction Induction Safety).
Current Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
High attention to detail and good communication skills.
Experience:
Experience operating forklifts in a production or warehouse environment.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to operate machinery and perform minor repairs.
Good communication and teamwork skills.

Competitive hourly rate of $33 – $38 per hour.
