Job Description/Overview:
Community Horizons is assisting a Wisconsin Rapids resident in finding a dependable and compassionate weekend caregiver. This role involves providing personal care and assistance for a female member with Multiple Sclerosis in a private home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Personal care, including changings and feeding.
Transfers using a Hoyer lift.
Cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
Medication administration.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of professional healthcare experience.
Familiarity with care for individuals with Multiple Sclerosis.
Personal care experience, including use of a Hoyer lift.
COVID-19 vaccination preferred or willingness to wear a mask during close contact.
Reliable transportation and favorable caregiver background check.
Experience:
At least 1 year in a healthcare-related field.
Skills:
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Positive personality and ability to engage in conversation.
Basic household management skills.

Additional Information:
Wage: $16.32 per hour.
Casual, part-time weekends with flexible shifts (7 am – 3 pm, 3 pm – 10 pm, or overnight).
Opportunity to pick up additional shifts during the week.
