Position: Caregiver

Job Description/Overview:
Community Horizons is seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers to work directly with individuals in a private home setting through Self-Directed Services (SDS). Caregivers will assist clients in achieving maximum independence while maintaining their schedule and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, including showering (Wednesday and Saturday), bowel program, and catheter care.
Assist with dressing and medication setup, including applying creams and using nebulizers.
Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks.
Handle laundry and run local errands.
Schedule:
Friday: 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m.
Every other weekend with the same shifts.
Qualifications:
Experience in caregiving (preferred).
Reliable, dependable, and patient.
Must be pet-friendly.
Experience:
Previous caregiving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
Skills:
Ability to provide personal care services with empathy and professionalism.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Friendly demeanor, especially with pets.
