Job Description/Overview
Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated and flexible Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join the Outpatient team. The role involves working across multiple Outpatient areas, supporting trauma and orthopaedic clinics at the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington, as well as at Morpeth View and Wansbeck General Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in consultant-led clinics.
Perform patient observations and record results electronically.
Carry out phlebotomy procedures.
Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient department.
Support evening and weekend clinics as required.
Qualifications
Required: Level 3 qualification in a healthcare-related subject or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of care procedures, clinical observations, and relevant legislation.
Phlebotomy experience and skills.
Experience
Previous outpatient, hospital, or clinical experience is essential.
Skills
Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Additional Information
Salary: £24,071 – £25,674 per annum.
