Job Description/Overview
The Assistant Nursery Nurse will work within the NHS-operated Little Dragons Nursery to provide high-quality care for children aged 6 months to reception age. The role involves assisting Nursery Nurses in delivering a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. The nursery operates year-round, offering full-day care from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver physical, intellectual, emotional, and social care for children.
Work collaboratively with parents to support child development.
Maintain records as per the EYFS Statutory Framework.
Participate in training for professional development.
Assist in keeping the nursery secure, safe, and clean.
Qualifications
Required: Level 2 NVQ in Childcare (or equivalent).
Understanding of the EYFS framework.
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
Experience
Prior experience working in a nursery setting is preferred.
Skills
Ability to provide compassionate and high-quality childcare.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: £23,615 per annum.
