Job Description/Overview
SkillHire is looking for skilled and experienced Forklift Operators for new and exciting opportunities opening up in early 2025. This role involves operating various forklifts, including LF, LO, and High Reach, in a warehousing environment. The position requires loading and unloading trucks and ensuring safe, efficient, and timely operations.
Key Responsibilities
Operate LF, LO, and High Reach forklifts as required.
Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of goods.
Work well within a team environment.
Maintain physical fitness for demanding tasks.
Ensure safety practices and adhere to OH&S guidelines.
Work independently and efficiently within specific timeframes.
Qualifications
Current LF Forklift License and experience, and/or
Current LO License and experience, and/or
Experience with High Reach forklifts.
Current Driver’s License.
Own transport (preferred).
Experience
Experience working in a warehousing environment.
Proven ability to load and unload trucks safely.
Experience working independently and in a team.
Skills
Safe work practices and understanding of OH&S requirements.
Physical fitness for manual tasks.
Reliability and the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and team skills.
