Job Description/Overview

 

As a Customer Service Officer at Tarkett, you will be the primary point of contact for both internal and external customers. You will play a key role in managing orders, resolving issues, and improving customer satisfaction.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Enter and/or confirm delivery dates for orders from internal and external customers.

 

Establish and update the production schedule while respecting line capacities and inventory policies.

 

Ensure the availability rate meets customer expectations and manage both short and long-term production needs.

 

Monitor and update the order book, ensuring proper allocation of orders.

 

Coordinate the modification and closure of Purchase Orders (POs).

 

Identify at-risk orders from a customer service perspective and follow up with the planning team.

 

Communicate proactively with customers and sales networks via systems, email, and phone.

 

Coordinate with finance teams for credit checks.

 

Work with shipment planning for express transport requirements.

 

Plan operations for delayed differentiation.

 

Collaborate with the marketing/studio teams on special product orders, identifying potential blockages early.

 

Participate in meetings regarding new product ranges and manage Phase In/Phase Out processes.

 

Follow up on billing processes and ensure accurate sales price updates.

 

Prepare credit notes in case of disputes.

 

Monitor and calculate customer service performance indicators (OTIF, order entry, etc.).

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (Bac +2 or +3 or +4) in logistics, supply chain, or foreign trade.

 

Previous experience in customer service, ideally within an industrial environment.

 

Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and SAP.

 

Fluent in both French and English.

 

Experience

 

Experience in customer service within a similar industrial or manufacturing environment.

 

Skills

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities.

 

Proactive problem-solving skills and initiative.

 

Strong team-oriented mindset.
