Job Description:
Gulf Investment House is seeking a highly experienced Head of Treasury to oversee the organization’s treasury functions. This critical role is responsible for managing the company’s liquidity, funding, and financial risk, ensuring optimal cash flow and financial stability. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies to maximize the company’s financial resources while minimizing risks associated with currency fluctuations and interest rates. Strong leadership, a deep understanding of financial markets, and the ability to guide the treasury team are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treasury policies and procedures to optimize cash management and funding strategies.
- Monitor and manage the company’s liquidity position, ensuring adequate cash flow to meet operational needs.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks, including interest rate and foreign exchange risks.
- Oversee the investment of surplus funds, ensuring compliance with investment policies and maximizing returns.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast cash flow requirements and identify funding needs.
- Lead and mentor the treasury team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Prepare and present treasury reports to senior management and stakeholders, providing insights into financial performance.
- Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to negotiate favorable terms for financing and investment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to treasury operations.
- Stay updated on market trends and economic developments to inform treasury strategies and decisions.
Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in treasury management within the investment or financial services sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or similar certifications are a plus.
- Skills:
- Expertise in cash management, liquidity forecasting, and funding strategies.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, markets, and risk management techniques.
- Advanced analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and ERP software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage cross-departmental relationships.
- High level of integrity and adherence to ethical financial practices.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Nationality: Open to all Arab countries.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in treasury management or related financial fields.
