Job Description/Overview:
Rainbows End Adult Foster Care, a highly regarded care home in Forest Grove, OR, seeks compassionate and dedicated caregivers for both day and night shifts. With over 28 years of providing exceptional care, Rainbows End offers a supportive environment for staff and residents. Caregivers will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and ensure a clean and safe environment for elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide companion care and foster a warm environment.
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs.
Perform light housekeeping tasks.
Administer medications correctly and on time.
Monitor health and report any changes to medical staff.
Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies.
Communicate with medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience, preferably with elderly or memory care patients.
Reliable, resourceful, and calm in emergencies.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Genuine passion for caregiving and helping others.
Experience:
At least 1 year of caregiving experience is required.
Skills:
Experience with dementia and memory care is highly preferred.
Reliable transportation is essential (not accessible by public transport).

Shifts: 12-hour shifts (day and night), with weekends as needed.
Work Location: In-person at Forest Grove, OR facility.
Pay:
Day Shift: Starting at $20.00 per hour.
Night Shift: Starting at $20.50 per hour (includes $0.50/hour night differential).
