Job Description/Overview:
Homecare Hub of New Mexico seeks compassionate and committed caregivers to provide personal care and support to individuals in need. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring clients’ well-being, and treating them like family.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed medication
Assist clients with mobility, dressing, bathing, and eating
Cook meals based on dietary restrictions
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and shopping
Provide companionship and emotional support
Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions
Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a personal care assistant
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Strong ethics, compassion, and reliability
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, or nursing home settings preferred
Skills:
Proficiency in medication administration
Familiarity with caregiving systems and practices
Knowledge of social work principles is a plus
