Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller/Investments to join our team, reporting directly to the CEO. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience in financial management, investment analysis, and corporate finance. The role involves overseeing the accounts team, managing investments, and contributing to strategic financial planning within the company. This position requires a strong background in real estate and private equity investments, along with expertise in accounting and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts:
- Ensure proper inter-group adjustments and finalization of books of accounts.
- Liaise with auditors to facilitate audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Develop and implement internal policies and controls.
- Allocate responsibilities to the accounts team and oversee their performance.
- Troubleshoot accounting issues and ensure accurate salary computation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Investments:
- Review and manage group investments, particularly in real estate and private equity.
- Identify new investment opportunities and assess potential risks and returns.
- Develop asset allocation strategies and a risk-return matrix.
- Create tactical and strategic investment plans.
- Establish appropriate monitoring mechanisms for investments.
- Enhance in-house research capabilities related to investments.
Corporate Finance:
- Structure investments and liaise with bankers for financial dealings.
- Manage cash flows and ensure liquidity for smooth operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 10-15 years in financial management and investment roles.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, along with CA, CFA, or CPA certifications.
- Required to Travel: Yes, travel is required for investment and corporate finance activities.
- Additional Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to develop financial strategies, and expertise in investment management, particularly in real estate and private equity.

- Nationality: Open to all nationalities, preference for candidates from India.
