Job Description/Overview
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide personalized care and support for a teenage girl in Birmingham. If you have experience managing challenging behaviours and are passionate about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you!
This role involves meeting the personal care needs of our service user, carrying out regular observations, managing clinical interventions, and ensuring her comfort and safety throughout the night. The role also includes creating a calm and soothing environment to support her sleep.
Our service user enjoys engaging in play-based activities and watching TV, particularly her favourite programs, Bing and Mickey Mouse.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver personal care to meet the service user’s needs.
Perform regular observations and manage clinical interventions.
Foster a calm and safe environment for the service user during the night.
Support her play-based activities when appropriate.
Pay Rates
£13.50 to £14.50 per hour
Approx. £135.00 to £145.00 per 10-hour night shift
Shifts Available
Part-time nights
10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Shifts available Monday to Thursday
Qualifications and Skills
Experience with challenging behaviours is desirable.
A compassionate and empathetic nature.
Strong observational and caregiving skills.
