Job Description/Overview:
Charterhouse AU is seeking a Business Development Manager to join an established non-bank lending business specializing in consumer lending. Due to growth and planned expansion, the company is looking to strengthen its team with a talented individual to develop new and existing broker and aggregator networks, generating revenue through these channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead generation and business development, focusing on brokers and aggregator networks.
Book meetings, conduct discovery sessions, and deliver value propositions.
Follow up on leads, handle objections, and close deals effectively.
Identify opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell to maximize revenue.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline for current and future business.
Inbound and outbound sales, depending on pipeline status.
Respond to incoming interest from partners and prospects.
Requirements:
Proven experience in commercial business development.
Previous experience in the non-bank lending industry is essential.
Consumer lending experience is highly desirable.
Full sales cycle experience from prospecting to closing deals.
Familiarity with business development tools (Apollo, Lusha, Mailchimp, etc.).
Proven ability to work with channel partners to generate leads and referrals.
