Position: Compliance Officer

Job Description/Overview:
We are looking for an Officer Compliance (Data Protection) to join our team at Cargolux. In this role, you will support the Data Protection Unit in developing operational aspects of the data protection program, including managing the register of processing activities, conducting data protection impact assessments (DPIA), and handling data subject access requests (DSAR). You will also assist in the investigation and reporting of data incidents and breaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Data Protection Unit with operational aspects of data protection, including DPIA and DSAR processes.
Assist in investigating and notifying data incidents and breaches.
Conduct data protection assessments and reviews to identify and mitigate risks.
Provide data protection legal advice and support for projects with data protection implications.
Assist in planning and organizing compliance training and communications.
Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of corporate policies and procedures.
Support the Compliance department with monitoring activities, due diligence, investigations, and reporting.
Regularly provide reports and statistics on data protection consultations, reviews, and compliance activities.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Law.
Experience in data protection is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to simplify complex topics into clear and engaging material.
Creative mindset with an eye for visual design.
Basic understanding of compliance regulatory requirements is a plus.
Experience in delivering training or presentations is advantageous.
Experience:
Prior experience in data protection or compliance roles is preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to transform complex legal topics into understandable material.
Team-oriented with flexibility to work on various topics.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data responsibly.

Additional Information:
Permanent, full-time position based at the Luxembourg Headquarters.
Occasional travel within the Cargolux network may be required.
