Job Description/Overview:
Monarch Communities is seeking a dedicated and compassionate caregiver to assist residents in their daily lives, focusing on personal care, safety, and well-being. This role is integral to ensuring residents live comfortably and with dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
Ensure residents’ safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
Escort residents to meals and activities.
Maintain cleanliness and grooming standards for residents.
Document care services provided during shifts.
Report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions.
Qualifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA).
Knowledge of elderly care practices; dementia care experience is an advantage.
Experience:
Previous experience in elderly care is preferred.
Skills:
Ability to maintain residents’ safety and provide compassionate care.
Effective communication and documentation skills.
Physical ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
