About the Role
As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our Cairns office, providing professional and friendly service to clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and staff warmly.
- Answer and transfer phone calls, taking detailed messages.
- Electronically distribute faxes and manage mail (incoming and outgoing).
- Prepare and maintain meeting rooms and the staff kitchen.
- Assist with catering, stationery, and IT requirements.
- Support administrative tasks such as file management, searches, and archiving.
- General office support duties as required.
About You
You genuinely enjoy working with people and thrive in a team-oriented environment. You are detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities with professionalism.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Polished telephone manner and professional presentation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Enthusiasm and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Reception experience in a legal environment (highly regarded but not essential).
