Job Description/Overview:
Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel is looking for a full-time Housekeeper to join their team. The position offers flexible hours, and training will be provided. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the hotel’s guest rooms and common areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
Dust furniture
Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
Make beds and change sheets
Stock linen closet
Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Handle and report lost and found items
Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Wash windows, walls, and ceilings
Clean changing rooms and showers
Qualifications:
No formal education required (no degree, certificate, or diploma necessary)

Ability to perform physical tasks

Salary: $22.00 per hour
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
