Job Description/Overview:
The Home Care Aide (HCA) provides personal care and related services to clients in their homes under the supervision of a Service Supervisor. The role focuses on supporting clients with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment. The HCA is not permitted to perform sterile or invasive procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow the care plan to deliver safe and competent care.
Assist with personal hygiene and maintaining a clean, healthful environment.
Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
Aid with client ambulation as approved.
Encourage client independence and mental alertness through engaging activities.
Perform routine housekeeping tasks.
Collaborate with community agency personnel involved in client care.
Report any changes in the client’s condition or home situation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Current CPR certification (online certifications not accepted).
Successful criminal background check.
Knowledge of personal care, housekeeping, and meal preparation basics.
Understanding and respect for client confidentiality and ethics.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience:
1 year of caregiving experience (preferred).

Additional Information:

Pay: $17.00 – $19.00 per hour
