Job Description/Overview:
Mission Homecare seeks compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in need. Caregivers will work in assisted living facilities, home health, or hospice care settings, focusing on enhancing clients’ quality of life. The role involves personal care, assistance with daily activities, and ensuring client well-being. Positions are available in the Boerne or Spring Branch area for 8 to 12-hour shifts per day.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Assist clients with mobility and physical activities, including heavy lifting when needed.
Administer and manage medications as prescribed.
Prepare nutritious meals and provide cooking assistance.
Monitor and report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional health.
Document care and maintain accurate patient records.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in caregiving, assisted living, home health, or hospice care (preferred but not required).
CPR certification is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks.
A nurturing attitude and genuine desire to help others.
Experience:
Relevant caregiving experience preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
Personal care, communication, medication management, and record-keeping skills.
