Job Description/Overview
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of older people? HRM Homecare Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Care Officer who advocates a person-centred approach and has a good knowledge of the care sector. As a Care Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and implementing care policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with care legislation and company policies. This role is essential for maintaining the highest standards in service delivery, ensuring our clients receive the best care possible.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and coordinate the implementation of care policies and procedures
Produce outcome-focused personal care plans and undertake reviews
Compile reports and action plans within appropriate timelines
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and good care practices
Build strong relationships with service users and their families
Proficient use of Microsoft Office and support digitalization in social care
Support the out-of-hours rota and deliver care in emergencies when required
Qualifications
Experience in working with older people and a person-centred care approach
Knowledge of the care sector, care planning, and community partnerships for SDS packages
Strong communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience
A background in care or knowledge of care would be advantageous
Knowledge of the North and South Lanarkshire and Falkirk areas is preferred but not essential
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to build strong relationships with service users, families, and colleagues
Ability to manage and coordinate care plans efficiently
Willingness to embrace digital care solutions
What We Offer
Salary: £26,780 – £27,500 per annum
5 days over a 7-day rota
Support with out-of-hours care when on the weekend rota (with days off during the week)
