Job Description/Overview:
The HR Assistant will support HR operations by assisting with administrative duties, managing employee records, processing documentation, coordinating HR projects, and supporting recruitment and employee orientation. The role ensures that the HR department operates smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day HR functions and duties.
Provide clerical and administrative support to HR leaders.
Compile and update employee records.
Process documentation and prepare reports related to staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate HR projects like meetings, training, and surveys.
Answer common employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and hiring.
Conduct orientation for newly hired employees.
Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of HR records.
Perform audits of HR files to ensure all required documents are filed correctly.
Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resources or related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as an HR assistant or in a relevant administrative position.
Skills:
Fast typing skills, particularly with MS Office.
Hands-on experience with HRIS or HRMS systems.
Basic knowledge of labor laws.
