About the Role

This is an exciting 8-month fixed-term contract role covering parental leave. The Digital & Solar Marketing Manager will oversee all aspects of the Ecotricity digital experience, driving increased solar installations and new customer growth. You’ll manage the website and content, collaborate with a media agency for SEO/SEM and paid social media, and play an essential role in educating New Zealanders about the benefits of solar energy. Additionally, you’ll optimize HubSpot and support ad-hoc campaigns and projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Marketing Strategy: Oversee digital marketing initiatives that drive solar installations and customer acquisition.
  • Content & Website Management: Manage and update the website content to ensure an engaging user experience.
  • SEO/SEM & Paid Social Media: Work with a media agency to optimize SEO/SEM strategies and manage paid social media campaigns.
  • HubSpot Optimization: Manage and optimize HubSpot to improve marketing efficiency.
  • Educational Marketing: Implement educational campaigns to increase awareness of solar benefits across New Zealand.
  • Campaign Tracking: Measure and track the performance of digital marketing campaigns using analytics.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and assist with ad-hoc projects/campaigns.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a digital marketing role.
  • Proven expertise in managing HubSpot and executing multichannel digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO/SEM and paid social media management.
  • Excellent campaign tracking and analytics skills.
  • A collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail.
  • A passion for sustainability and creating a positive impact in the energy sector.
