Position Overview
FanSided is seeking passionate NCAA fans and writers to contribute content covering a wide range of NCAA teams for college football and basketball. We’re looking for contributors to join our coverage of teams including the Tennessee Volunteers, Wisconsin Badgers, Duke Blue Devils, Alabama Crimson Tide, and many more. If you’re a fan of college sports and have a strong voice, this is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and passion with an engaged audience.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Write Articles: Create engaging content related to your favorite NCAA teams. You will have the flexibility to cover topics of your choosing, including game analysis, player highlights, and other related content.
- Pitch Ideas: Before writing, pitch your topic ideas to ensure there is no overlap with other contributors.
- Write Regularly: Submit at least one article per month. However, you are encouraged to write as frequently as you wish to maximize your earnings.
- Explore Your Voice: FanSided encourages writers to experiment and try new things with their writing to bring fresh perspectives to the content.
Requirements
- Passion for NCAA Sports: A deep love and knowledge of college football and/or basketball teams.
- Writing Skills: Strong writing ability and a unique voice.
- Independent Work: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Content Flexibility: Willingness to pitch ideas, adapt, and explore different content formats.
- Commitment: Minimum of one article per month with more opportunities for those who write frequently.
Compensation
- Contributors are compensated based on the total traffic accrual of their articles each month.
- Compensation varies by site and experience level.
