Job Description/Overview:
ExpertCare is looking for compassionate and dedicated Afternoon Caregivers to join our team. As an Afternoon Caregiver, you will assist special needs clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and foster a positive environment. This part-time role offers flexible afternoon shifts and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide companionship and engage in activities to enhance emotional and mental well-being.
Ensure client safety and comfort at all times.
Follow care plans and maintain communication with family members and the care team.
Support clients with light household tasks like cleaning and meal preparation.
Qualifications:
Experience with special needs individuals is preferred but not required.
Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor.
Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check.
Experience:
Prior caregiving experience is beneficial, though not mandatory.
Skills:
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
