Qode Social Media Marketing is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team in North York, ON. This internship is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and digital content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy: Research, design, develop, and execute full-funnel social media strategies for multiple clients.
- Content Creation & Execution: Collaborate with the social media team to create and distribute engaging content that resonates with Gen Z audiences, with a focus on platforms like TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and more.
- Analytics & Reporting: Analyze social media performance metrics, including social-aided conversions, on-social conversions, and traffic metrics. Use data to refine and optimize strategies.
- Creative Development: Drive creative briefs and collaborate with a team of strategists, creatives, and producers to produce compelling, high-quality content.
- Trend Identification: Stay on top of social media trends, shifts in user behavior, and emerging platforms. Provide insights to keep content fresh and innovative.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with various internal teams including social strategists, content managers, and account managers to ensure cohesive campaigns.
- Content Sourcing: Source and work with creators to produce user-generated content (UGC) that feels authentic and aligned with brand voice.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience or familiarity with platforms such as Meta Business Manager, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, and X.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn social metrics into actionable insights.
- Excellent written communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex ideas.
- Creative mindset with experience in developing and providing feedback on content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- Strong interest in social media trends, behavior, and cultural shifts.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while taking initiative when necessary.
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications, Psychology, or a related field is an asset.
- Passionate about creative digital marketing and eager to learn from experienced professionals.

Requirements:
- Must be a current full-time student at a post-secondary institution.
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status in Canada.
- Ability to work from our office located at Yonge & Sheppard Subway in North York, ON.
