Job Description/Overview:
Goodyear is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its PPI – RTT – Instrumentation Department in Luxembourg. The role involves managing and maintaining skidtrailer instrumentation, calibration processes, and contributing to continuous improvement activities. Key Responsibilities:
Develop, purchase, install, and validate measurement equipment for skidtrailers.
Supervise custom software for skidtrailer data acquisition and machinery.
Perform maintenance and preventive upgrades on skidtrailers.
Manage skidtrailer equipment calibration in compliance with ISO 17025 and legal requirements.
Maintain and repair skidtrailer equipment in-house or via suppliers.
Write user manuals and work instructions for test equipment.
Ensure safety and quality compliance in all activities.
Support road tire testing with strong team collaboration.
Qualifications:
Required: Bac +3/BTS or Bachelor’s in Electromechanics.
Desirable: Engineering Degree.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in industries, with experience in automotive or testing industries preferred.
Skills:
Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and tire construction is an asset.
Proficiency in English and French; German is a plus.
Strong communication, documentation, and MS Office skills.
Flexible and adaptable to varying testing environments and weather conditions.
