Job Description/Overview:
Visiting Angels seeks compassionate caregivers to provide support for seniors in the Central Alabama area, including Tuskegee, Montgomery, Auburn, and more. Caregivers will assist clients in maintaining independence and comfort in their homes, offering personalized care and companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
Help clients with medication, mobility, and personal care.
Provide meal preparation and assist with dietary needs.
Perform light housekeeping and shopping.
Accompany clients on appointments and outings.
Monitor clients’ safety and report incidents.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of emergency response, first aid, and housekeeping.
Compassionate, respectful, and time-efficient.
Good communication skills and physical endurance.
Experience:
Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
Skills:
Strong ethics, patience, and empathy.
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
