Job Description/Overview:
Assured Care Services seeks a compassionate and dedicated caregiver to support a young adult male with a mild intellectual disability. The role involves providing companionship, helping with social skills, and fostering the client’s independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Perform light housekeeping for a clean and safe environment.
Transport the client to appointments, errands, and social outings using your vehicle.
Monitor and record vital signs as needed.
Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of first aid procedures.
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
Experience:
Previous caregiving or related field experience preferred.
Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are required.
Skills:
Patience, empathy, and effective communication.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
