Job Description/Overview:
Spire Wellesley Hospital is seeking Healthcare Assistants to join their Outpatients department on a bank contract. The role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work across a wide variety of specialisms in a modern, supportive environment. The hospital has state-of-the-art facilities, including three theatres, an endoscopy unit, and a 33-bedded surgical ward.
Job Responsibilities:
Support nurses with patient care, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
Assist in assessing patients’ health and well-being across diverse caseloads.
Ensure patients’ comfort, privacy, and dignity.
Perform basic nursing tasks under supervision.
Qualifications
NVQ Health Awards Level 3 or NVQ Direct Care Level 2 (or equivalent experience).
Evidence of continuing professional development.
Experience:
Essential:
Patient-facing experience and ability to plan work independently.
Teamwork skills.
Knowledge and Technical Ability:
Essential:
Awareness of health, safety, and hygiene standards, including infection control.
Competency in medical devices and equipment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and English language (IELTS 7.0).
