Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Content Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. Reporting to the Manager, Omnichannel Content, this role focuses on creating and executing engaging content strategies across multiple platforms, from social media to in-store signage. If you’re a creative storyteller with a passion for multi-platform content, this role is your chance to shine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies on omnichannel content strategies for social media, websites, email campaigns, in-store signage, and more.
- Plan and manage Always On Social Media content, including calendars, creative concepts, and file workflows.
- Develop content strategies for banner websites, supporting marketing campaigns from ideation to digital production.
- Write, edit, and proofread on-brand, compelling content across social, web, email, and point-of-sale (POS) channels.
- Leverage data insights to optimize digital content and drive engagement across platforms.
- Ensure storytelling aligns with brand identity across all retail/customer-facing touchpoints.
- Support exciting brand initiatives for Sobeys, Safeway, Compliments, Foodland, Thrifty Foods, and FreshCo.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Post-Secondary degree in Journalism, Communications, or Marketing.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media or web content planning and execution.
- Expertise in digital content strategies for social, web, and digital marketing, including SEO and analytics.
- Proven copywriting skills for multi-channel platforms such as POS, social media, and web.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:
This is a hybrid position requiring presence at the Tahoe Office at least three days per week.
