Job Description/Overview:
The NHS is looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join the healthcare team as caregivers/healthcare assistants. The role involves supporting patients with daily activities, assisting with personal care, and contributing to the well-being and comfort of those in care. Ideal candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to patients in various settings (hospital, home care, nursing homes).
Assist with daily activities such as feeding, bathing, and mobility.
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to senior staff.
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
Qualifications:
A caring and empathetic nature.
Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving (preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience:
Experience in healthcare, social care, or a similar field is desirable but not essential.
Training and support will be provided for new staff.
Skills:
