Job Description/Overview:
The Administrative Assistant role at DLA Piper involves front desk management, client interaction, and clerical support. The individual will answer calls, greet visitors, schedule meetings, and maintain files, contributing to the smooth operations of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage multi-line telephone systems and direct calls.
Greet clients, vendors, and visitors.
Arrange catering for meetings.
Schedule conference rooms and coordinate office events.
Process invoices and track expenses.
Prepare documents such as memos, spreadsheets, and letters.
Maintain department files and visitor logs.
Submit and track maintenance requests.
Assist with marketing events and miscellaneous projects.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to type at least 50 words per minute.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in clerical or administrative roles.
