Job Description/Overview:
Prosper Fingal, part of the Prosper Group, is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting adults with intellectual disabilities and autism. The role of Social Care Worker involves providing care in a respite service, offering support to individuals with intellectual disabilities, helping them reach their full potential, and fostering connections with their community. This position requires flexibility and involves working ‘Waking Nights.’ A clean manual driving license is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care and support to adults with intellectual disabilities.
Assist individuals in their daily activities and promote community integration.
Work with individuals to help them achieve their personal goals and maintain their independence.
Adhere to HIQA standards and maintain a safe, supportive environment.
Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records.
Ensure a high standard of care in a respite setting during night shifts.
Qualifications:
Qualification: QQI Level 7/8 degree in Social Care or a related discipline.
Experience: Experience in disability services is advantageous.
Skills:
Knowledge of HIQA standards and the CORU registration process.
Full, clean manual driving license.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly in a team and on night shifts.
Proficient in documentation and reporting.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
