Job Description/Overview:
A family is seeking an energetic and adaptable nanny/caregiver to provide attentive childcare and support the well-being of their two children. The role involves providing a safe and structured environment, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining communication with the parents. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a positive, educational atmosphere for the children.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care, ensuring physical and emotional needs are met.
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, including educational activities and outings.
Assist with homework and school projects.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
Maintain a consistent daily schedule, including school pick-ups, playtime, and extracurricular activities.
Safely transport children to school and activities.
Monitor children’s health and safety at all times, including during outdoor play.
Maintain open communication with parents about children’s progress and concerns.
Perform light housekeeping tasks related to the children.
Qualifications:
Able to handle various situations independently.
Effective communicator with both children and adults.
Critical thinker and quick decision-maker in unforeseen situations.
Able to swim.
Experience:
2 years of nannying experience preferred.
Skills:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to foster positive behavior and conflict resolution in children.
